The beginning of each day

Professor Snuggles closes his Bible, gets up from his bunk and walks over to his terrarium containing 7 "tamato plants". He plucks a ripe red fruit from the plant standing a little over half a meter tall bearing half a dozen more fruit of the same red color than the one in his hand. He takes a bite and savours the taste many consider it just too bitter or maybe it is just the fact that it dates back so far.

The seed that the plants come from was obtained from a ridiculous expensive deal that I made with some Minmatar slave who said he kept the seed since it reminded him so much of his homeland also informed me of the many medical qualities and well being that the daily eating of said fruit brings.

I have to say that I was a bit sceptical about these facts but my love for plants and science made the price I paid very small considering the joy I get from nurturing these seedlings to plants and the satisfaction I get from being able to eat my own work, if that makes sense to you. I also checked the effects it had on my body and it turned out that the slave was quite right but I am sure that he didn't know half the things I discovered regarding the advantages of "dosing" myself with this fruit.

While enjoying this taste that I have quite come accustomed to just as the many other variants of vegetables that I have growing in my upright shelf-like terrarium. I move over to my office chair and have an admiring look at my other bodies waiting for me.

You see I sell clones for a living, this body is one of about 5 "persons" that I have been all with differing career paths downloaded into their cortexes. The one that I am currently in is also just a temporary one till I will settle in a clone that I am finally content with. KQarberroh was the first one, but after realising that my growth as a pod pilot wasn't everything I wanted it to be I sold him for isk and settled in ZXohne.

I settled in ZXohne only till I had isk problems again and I had to part with him into a lesser skilled pilot called Arnand. While doing this I trained up KQorban but he was promptly sold for isk before I even ever used him.

The isk is good and downloading new skills while thinking of all the possibilities that might arise from living in said grown clone gives me satisfaction, very much like my bonsai collection that I have in my sleeping quarters. They truly are my favorite of all the plants I care for so much. So much character each with it's own way of wanting to be cared for, so absolutely beautiful by age.

I would someday gather the isk to buy KQarberroh back since I never felt anybody other than KQarberroh. All my old friends calling me KQ while mining for my first hulk's isk, they were 500mil back in the day and 500mil was just so far a goal. I just remember that I have never made such good friends together with that 500mil as I have ever made any billion that I have been making now. Then it is true what they say about anything in life, enjoy it because this too shall pass.

This too shall pass, just like the beginning of everyday
